LES Benelux cordially invites you to the AGM and Topic Meeting on Thursday 20 June 2019 from 10.00 till 17.15 in Brussels, Belgium.
Our acknowledged speakers will discuss lessons learned from Life Sciences:
- Competition law issues in the Life Sciences sector – Understand the most pressing current issues of competition law for IP and tech transfer specialists active in the sector of Life Sciences
- Supplementary Protection Certificates & manufacturing waiver – Master the latest developments in drug life cycle management. Hear an update on SPC case law. Experts from the EU regulator, the industry and law firms will exchange views on the new EU regulation and its impact on the industry.
- Trade secret protection – What does “reasonable steps” really mean for life sciences companies – Reasonable steps” are required under the EU directive for information to enjoy trade secret protection. What steps are required? What does it mean in practice.

Registration and fees

- The special fee for this AGM and meeting will be € 90,00 for LES Benelux members. For LES members 40 years of age or below there is a discount of € 20,00 under the condition of completing your date of birth at the online registration form.
- The fee is € 180,00 for non-members. Please note that for non-members from one of the Benelux countries the fee also includes membership of LES Benelux for 2019.
- Members who wish to attend only the half hour AGM are welcome at no charge. Members of LES are entitled to vote at the AGM. Non-members are most welcome to attend as observers but have no right to vote.
Participation includes meeting materials, buffet lunch, coffee and tea in the break and drinks after the meeting. Payment can take place by bank transfer or by credit card. Your registration will be confirmed with an invoice for the registration fee.
