The Licensing Executives Society (LES) is a non-profit organization active in the field of Technology and Intellectual Property licensing – from technical know-how and patented inventions to software, copyright and trademarks.

On April 23, 2019, the 10th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) approved a proposal to amend China’s Trademark Law. The amendments cover six articles and took effect on November 1, 2019.
