The Role of Knowledge Transfer Policies

An event organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), AUTM – The Leading Association in Technology Transfer and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Director General, Daren Tang, will provide introductory remarks on the role of public research and knowledge transfer for scientific breakthroughs and innovation and highlight a recent WIPO publication on this topic. Two panels will then delve into “Boosting Innovation via better Knowledge Transfer” and “Knowledge Transfer for Life Science Innovation”. The meeting will also feature a discussion on how practices and new partnerships have been affected in particular by the COVID-19 pandemic.
