Perth (Australia), 7 June 2018
The first of LESANZ (WA) three part China series, explaining China’s Belt and Road initiative and how it seeks to expand on the spirit of the original Silk Road, facilitating trade and cultural exchange between the global nations, and enhancing economic cooperation between China and Australia. Global trade routes are being established through a series of infrastructure projects, ranging from high-speed railways, sea ports and airports, and leading to a significant infrastructure building boom across Central Asia and Europe, with over $1.3 trillion in current project development. This provides significant prospects for enhanced economic cooperation between China and Australia.
