He focuses his practice on patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation matters\, and disputes involving and related to technology transfer and patent license agreements. DESCRIPTION:LES Italia is proud to announce the opening of the LES Italia 2024 Study Award\, aimed at recognizing the best theses on Intellectual Property. \n  \nAbout Us \nLES Italia is the Italian Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LES)\, a non-profit international association active in the field of Intellectual Property rights and licensing. \nThe association\, which includes more than 500 members representing major companies\, industrial and research organizations\, law and IP firms\, aims to promote and encourage studies and opportunities for meetings among various sector operators at domestic and international levels. It also disseminates information\, opinions\, and publications on Intellectual Property matters. \n  \nAward Description \nTo foster interest and awareness among young students regarding Intellectual Property\, and to promote new studies and reflections on this topic\, LES Italia is offering three Study Awards to three authors who will present the best unpublished theses on Intellectual Property. \nRead the full announcement of the Study Award (pdf) \n  \nEligibility Requirements \nIndividuals who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in the LES Italia Study Award 2024: \n\nHave written an essay in Italian or English language on Intellectual Property that is unpublished at the time of the submission of the application;\nAre not older than 35 years at the time of application submission;\nAre not members of the LES Italia Executive Committee\, nor have any family relationships\, affinities with any members.\n\n  \nApplication Procedure \nThe application must include: \n\nThe applicant’s first name\, surname\, place and date of birth\, address\, tax code\, telephone number and e-mail address;\nApplicant’s Curriculum Vitae and a certificate of completed studies with a list of academic examinations obtained;\nAn electronic copy of the essay and a bilingual Italian/English abstract of maximum 800/1000 words;\nBe sent no later than July 31\, 2024\, by e-mail and/or PEC to the following addresses:\n\nSegreteria LES Italia \nVia Durinig 20 (c/o Studio Legale Sutti) \nMilano CAP 20121 \nEmail: segreteria@les-italy.org \nPEC: les-italy@pec.it \n  \nSelection Process and Awarding \nApplications submitted by the aforementioned deadline will be evaluated by a judging committee composed of 4 (four) members appointed by the Executive Committee: a university professor\, a lawyer\, an Industrial Property consultant\, and a representative from the industry. \nThe judging committee will meet as soon as possible after the submission deadline\, appoint a president and define the meeting schedule for awarding the prizes within the terms indicated below.
